Dog Obedience Training in Connecticut

Basic Obedience Training Program

Our obedience program typically begins when your dog is 4-5 months old. However, we can teach old dogs new tricks. We have been able to bring dogs of all age successfully through our obedience program.

Obedience training won’t solve all behavior problems, but it does provide a solid foundation for solving most problems dog owners encounter throughout their dogs life. Effective communication is necessary when teaching your dog to be a good citizen and welcome family member. Our training program focuses on both verbal and non-verbal communicate with your dog. We utilize place boards to teach your dog the “Sit”, “Stay”, “Here”, and “Heel” commands. Place boards give clients a valuable tool they can take home with them and maintain their dogs level of training.

We make obedience training fun and rewarding for you and your dog. Our program will enrich the relationship you have with your dog and make living together even more enjoyable. A well-trained, obedient, dog is more confident and can be allowed a greater amount of freedom than an untrained dog. A trained dog will come when called, sit and stay until told otherwise and behave in a wide variety of environments.

We specialize in problem dogs: pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, not coming when called, refusing to sit and stay. If you have any of these problems with your dog please give us a call we guarantee you will see noticeable results from our obedience dog training program.  Call now for more information on our obedience training program – 203-518-0549.
